Health & Safety Policy

Our Commitment

At Riad Tizwa, the safety, wellbeing and comfort of our guests, staff and visitors are a priority.

We are committed to maintaining safe accommodation and operating practices across all our properties.

Fire Safety

All guests should familiarise themselves with emergency exits and evacuation procedures upon arrival.

In the event of an emergency, guests should follow the instructions of staff and local emergency services.

Smoking is permitted only in designated areas where applicable.

Building Safety

As many traditional Moroccan riads feature stairs, terraces, courtyards and historic architectural features, guests are asked to take appropriate care when moving around the property.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children or elderly guest at all times.

Health and Hygiene

We maintain cleaning and hygiene standards appropriate to the hospitality industry.

Any guest who becomes unwell during their stay is encouraged to notify a member of staff so that assistance can be provided.

Food Safety

We are committed to safe food preparation and handling practices.

Guests with allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should inform us before arrival or at the earliest opportunity.

While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Security

We take reasonable measures to safeguard guests and their belongings.

Guests are encouraged to use any safes provided and to keep valuables secure.

Accidents and Incidents

Any accident, injury, security concern or safety issue should be reported immediately to a member of staff.

Local Regulations

Guests are expected to comply with all applicable Moroccan laws and local regulations during their stay.

Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our health and safety procedures and welcome feedback that helps us improve the guest experience.
