Marrakech is only 45 minutes’ drive from the high Atlas Mountains allowing you to explore the breathtaking Ourika Valley and the Oukameden ski resort which is great for winter skiers or summer trekkers. Discover the highest mountain in the Atlas (Mt Toubkal) and meander through the scenic valleys and Berber villages. Whilst in the area, do see Asni and Ourigane where you can stop at the Roseraie Hotel for lunch or a drink and walk in the rose gardens. 2 hours away is Essaouira a beautiful fortified seaside town — known for having great surfing conditions endless beaches, cool winds and a very laidback atmosphere.
